SPICE Trials Organization
A trials team has been established within the SPICE Project to administer the
trials. The organization of the Trials Team parallels the overall
project organization. The SPICE Trials team is responsible for planning
the trials activities, designing the questionnaires and forms to support the trial
assessments, developing a trials database to store the results of the assessments,
collecting and analysing the data to report the results; and designing and providing
a non-commercial benchmarking service to the Trials participants.
International Trials Coordinators
There are two International Trials Coordinators, with complementary responsibilities:

A number of organizations have volunteered to support the project by acting
as Local Trials Coordinators. The Local Trials Co-ordinator will
work with the RTC to deal with the increased workload in supporting organisations
and assessors, to promote ISO/IEC TR 15504, and to ensure that all participants
receive quick and efficient responses to questions and solutions to problems.
Local Trials Co-ordinators will be established at a national level, organisational
level, or through model/method providers. Each LTC is expected to
co-ordinate at least one trial per year and to undertake significant promotion
activities. Requirements for Local Trials Coordinators have been
defined.
A list of approved Local Trials Coordinators is provided.
